STRONG programs focus on Mind + Body wellness, positive body image, stress management, and resisting peer pressure – we lay a foundation of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

 

Strong Programs (Healthy Living)

Girls are in charge of their health. Girls often face broad challenges to their physical, mental, social and emotional health. We reinforce the connection between physical and mental wellbeing:

  • EmpowerHER: Girls learn critical social and emotional skills such as self-awareness, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, resiliency, and stress management. Girls are provided resources and guidance on accessing behavioral and mental health supports outside of girls inc.
  • Mind+Body: Our Mind+Body efforts focus on physical activity, body image, nutrition and healthy relationships. Developing healthy habits provides girls with a critical foundation to succeed.
  • Social Emotional Learning: Girls learn valuable social and emotional self-regulating skills that are critical to success in school, home and eventually social and professional circles.
